We are a Practice based in the heart of Devon, and we have been designing buildings for many years. We are a fully registered RIBA Chartered Practice, which provides us with a wealth of resources and provides our clients with confidence in the services that we offer.

We serve Devon, Cornwall and the West Country with both community and private projects, but do not constrain ourselves geographically. In fact our most recent large commission is in Yorkshire. Our work can also be found in Ireland and France.

We are primarily designers of exciting projects using our skills in architecture, engineering and 3D modelling to ensure originality, buildability and a well conveyed design. We do not limit ourselves to building types. Our completed projects range from innovative extensions for houses and offices to new churches, new schools and visitor centres.

Robert Harris and Michael McMillan each have many years experience, and both worked in public and private offices before establishing the Practice. Their individual style has quickly led to a reputation for intriguing design. The team is still expanding and can be extended further to suit any project.

Clients include church dioceses, city councils, school commissioners, one-off house builders, office owners, patrons of museums, traditional estate companies, and many more. We are winning awards and regulalry entering our work for more.

In all that we do we combine design flair with professional procedures. We follow quality assurance practices conforming to RIBA standards. We have a network of professional support to cover all our activities, including health and safety, structural design, environmental analysis as well as working alongside quantity surveyors to ensure a secure cost management process.
