Project Name: A stunning new low energy home by bungalow conversion

Situated on the edge of Dartmoor this existing bungalow has been remodelled to create a luxurious low energy home. Our successful planning negotiations were key to achieving a design which met the Client's brief whilst maintaining an appropriate scale. At the heart of the house is a stunning new double height living space with a feature staircase to the new first floor accommodation. The facade treatment comprises stylish high performance contemporary aluminium glazing and sliding doors. The incorporation of several renewable energy technologies including: solar thermal (for hot water), air source heat pump (for heating), whole house heat recovery (mvhr), and a log burner will reduce the energy consumption from non renewable sources and should therefore save the client money.
