Barry has worked in the construction and building sector for over 20 years. He has carried out a variety of design and project management roles on schemes ranging from £50,000 to £250 million.

His long term interest in architecture led to him joining Harris McMillan in 2001, keen to be involved with a contemporary, dynamic design led practice.  His project delivery experience is utilised on many project types, in particular those with a more complex process such as approvals for church developments and listed buildings. He develops strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors believing that teamwork is key to a successful project.

Barry is an Affiliate Member of the RIBA, a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and holds a diploma in management from Henley College. He became an Associate Director with Harris McMillan in 2010. He has a strong interest in the technical developments relating to 'sustainability' with accreditation as an Eco-Refurbisher with the Green Register.

In his spare time Barry enjoys walking, sketching, reading and travelling.  His travelling experiences include boat travel through the French canals and along the Spanish coastline.
